About the Employer

The Napa County Office of Education (NCOE) is a public agency that provides academic services and enrichment opportunities for students, teachers and the community, as well as critical business services for school districts. NCOE partners with the five public school districts in Napa County on a variety of programs and issues. NCOE also operates numerous federal and state grants including a robust AmeriCorps program and state-wide projects supporting Special Education students.  NCOE's Early Childhood Services program is a leader in inclusive classroom structures.

GENERAL INFORMATION: The Desired Results Access Project, under the direction of the California Department of Education Special Education Division, promotes positive outcomes for young children and their families statewide through high quality practices in assessment and instruction that support the inclusion of children with disabilities in schools, home, and community settings. The Project’s work is based on evidence-based and recommended practices in early childhood and special education and is part of the California Department of Education’s funded training and technical assistance projects.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Master’s degree or higher in early childhood special education or related field

•Three-years of experience in a large-scale training and professional development position (multi-county, statewide, national professional development)

•Three years teaching experience in early childhood special education (preferred)
